Visa Requirements Quick Reference

Entry method, typical length of stay and the official source for 22 countries — in one table.

This table is a starting point for planning, not a substitute for checking your own passport against the destination's official immigration authority. Requirements change more often than most travellers expect, and several of the entries below have changed within the last two years.

Country notes

Four rules that apply everywhere

  1. 01Check requirements for your specific passport, not for "most travellers". Nationality changes everything.
  2. 02Apply only through official government portals. Visa agent sites are widespread, legitimate-looking and often several times the real price.
  3. 03Most countries require a passport valid for at least six months beyond entry, and several require proof of onward travel.
  4. 04An electronic authorisation is not a guarantee of entry. The border officer makes the final decision.

Confirm everything with the official immigration authority of the country you are entering before you book.
